3-5 June 2022
On this special Bank Holiday weekend, we return to Bradford, the home of our Musical Director Alex Berry, for an Anglo-Catholic Eucharist, and celebrations of Pentecost and the Platinum Jubilee at the Cathedral. This page will collect useful information about this visit.
Singing at our MD’s ‘home base’ guarantees a welcome and a smoothly running visit. Bradford is easy to reach by road and rail, with Yorkshire’s stunning landscape on the doorstep. Newcomers will be able to join current members of the choir to socialise and eat out – perhaps in one of the city’s many excellent curry houses!

The proposed schedule is as follows:
Friday 3 June (Bank Holiday)
Early afternoon: rehearsals
Evening: group meal or free time
Saturday 4 June
1045 Pentecost ‘Vigil’ at St Chad’s Toller Lane.
An opportunity for the choir to immerse itself in Tridentine Rite liturgy in the north of England’s most exotic Anglo-Catholic Church.
Howells Like as the Hart
Byrd Laetania
Palestrina Missa Brevis
Batten O Praise the Lord
Lunch: offered in Parish hall
Afternoon: free time
Sunday 5 June
1030 Pentecost Eucharist at Bradford Cathedral with the Bishop of Leeds
