Accommodation is recommended at either the Travelodge opposite the Cathedral, (although it has no parking of its own).
The Premier Inn in the city centre which is offering a ‘Premier Saver’ room rate of £35 per night.

The Cathedral suggests that there are three good hotels within two to five minutes’ walk. Both usually provide ‘weekend break’ deals. The Cathedral has had positive reaction from all adult choirs who have used them:

Ye Olde Talbot Hotel 01905 235730
Diglis House Hotel 01905 353518
Fownes Hotel 01905 613151

Worcester Whitehouse Hotel is the other end of the city, on Foregate Street (01905 24308). They have offered a discounted rate (during 2007 in the first instance) to those visiting the Cathedral.

There are other hotels / b&b near the Cathedral. The Tourist Information Centre at the Guildhall, High Street, Worcester (01905 726311) can provide further information; alternatively, http://www.visitworcester.com

There is a Youth Hostel in Malvern which visiting choirs have stayed in (18 Peachfield Road, tel.01684 569131).
